Purdue Calumet ‘Building Community’ Program

HAMMOND  — Purdue University Calumet presents a 17th century Renaissance visit, complete with wandering minstrel music, for attendees of the next Building Community through the Arts program. The program is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 12 at the downtown Towle Theater, 5205 Hohman Ave.

Attendees of “A Renaissance Faire” will experience a slice of Renaissance life through food, music and entertainment. Admission is free.

“A Renaissance Faire” is collaboratively presented by Purdue Calumet’s College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the university’s Multicultural Campus Council and the Towle Theater. Free parking is available east of the theater off Fayette Street and west of the theater across Hohman Avenue.
