Pulse Technology has announced a new partnership with Pudu Robotics, becoming an official distributor of service robots designed to help businesses across Northwest Indiana address operational challenges.
Once limited to factory floors, robots are now entering everyday business environments — from restaurants and hotels to health care facilities and offices. The new generation of service robots includes humanoid biped models and autonomous cleaning units. Pulse says these robots can take on repetitive or physically demanding tasks, allowing human employees to focus on higher-value work and customer engagement.
“Robotics should not be thought of as a science fiction or futuristic concept. It is instead a practical, accessible tool that can solve operational challenges,” the company said in a statement. While the robots are designed to handle repetitive tasks, Pulse Technology said they are intended to support — not replace — human workers, particularly as businesses continue to face staffing shortages.
Pudu Robotics offers robotic systems used in industries such as hospitality, health care, retail and logistics.
The rollout reflects a broader trend of service robots being adopted in everyday business settings.
