MERRILLVILLE — In conjunction with the upcoming Professional Disc Golf Association Pro World Championships, the public is invited to attend a free disc golf expo on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza. During the FlyMart, attendees will learn about disc golf and the various products associated with the game as well as meet professional disc golf players.
While at the FlyMart, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new disc golf products. Participating disc golf product vendors include Innova, Prodigy, Legacy, Pocket Discs as well as many others.
The PDGA Professional World Championships will be hosted at Lemon Lake County Park and Hidden Lake Park Saturday, Aug. 3, through Saturday, Aug. 10. The public is encouraged to come out to the parks and see the action. Admission to watch the tournament is $4 per person.
