La PORTE – A physical therapist with Indiana University Health Occupational Services has a new certification that is helping companies address the needs of people who are working into their older years.

Ronald Knickrehm, PT, CEAS II, an ergonomics specialist with IU Health Occupational Services, recently became a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) II. Already a CEAS I, Knickrehm obtained the level II certification through the Back School of Atlanta to gain enhanced skills for ergonomics job analysis. He now is able to use more quantifiable assessment tools while also addressing the impact of the aging workforce.
