Prosper Women Entrepreneurs (PWE), a program aimed at identifying, coaching and advancing women-led companies, is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for its Prosper Capital Startup Accelerator class. Prosper Capital invests $50,000 in each woman-led startup accepted to the accelerator program and gives participants access to world-renowned mentors, resources, introductions and a curriculum designed specifically for them. Applications will be accepted through June 19, 2015.
Prosper will select up to six startup businesses to take part in its three-month program based in the heart of St. Louis’ innovation district. The program will begin on August 25, 2015, and participants are required to be in St. Louis for two days a week while the program is in session. It concludes with a “Demo Day” on November 11, 2015.
Following the application deadline, the Prosper management team will arrange interviews with the top 15-25 applicants, and then the top ten will be asked to present to a Selection Committee. Selection is contingent on the successful completion of due diligence and agreement on investment terms.
