HAMMOND — The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority and NWIndianaLife.com will be hosting the annual Tech Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Indiana Welcome Center. Pre-registration is preferred and will be accepted through Sunday, Oct. 6.
The summit will feature sessions on a variety of tech topics. Short Session presenters include: Gus Olympidis, president of Family Express; Jed Stockton, communications director at Fair Oaks Farms; Frankie Lemer, senior account manager at Simpleview, Inc.; Brooke Kubath, go-to girl at Foster Printing Service; Milton G. Thaxton, Jr., managing partner at SMDG, LLC (Social Media Development Group); Michelle Neuman, sales engineer at Morgan Birge; Michael Devlin, professional services manager at McShane’s; Chris Mahlmann, owner and publisher of Ideas in Motion (NWIndianaLife.com, ValpoLife.com, LaPorteCountyLife.com and PortageLife.com); as well as Weinman.
In addition to the short sessions, the summit will host 15-minute roundtable discussions. Attendees may join discussions on social media tips and tricks, Facebook advertising, search engine optimization, All Things Google and more. During breaks throughout the event, there will be giveaways and a tech trade show.
