Ports of Indiana to receive 4 AAPA awards

PORTAGE – The Ports of Indiana, including the deepwater port at Burns Harbor on Lake Michigan, will receive four Communications Awards at the American Association of Port Authorities convention in the fall.

The awards include an Award of Excellence for its quarterly magazine, Portside, along with Awards of Merit for its website, its 2011 Indiana Logistics Director and a special recognition for a brochure, “Connecting the world to America’s Heartland.”

In addition to the port at Burns Harbor, the Ports of Indiana also have operations at Mount Vernon and Jeffersonville on the Ohio River.
