Porter Health Care System has named Linda S. Kiger as its new Director of Health Information Management. In her role, Kiger is responsible for managing policies and procedures related to healthcare information services throughout the system and serves as Assistant Privacy Officer.
Kiger comes to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, Illinois, where she most recently served as the Director of Health Information Management. She brings more than 25 years of experience in acute healthcare to her role.
Kiger received her Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University. She is a registered Health Information Administrator, certified in Healthcare Privacy and a member of the American Health Information Management Association.
