Porter Health Care System opened its second Health At Work corporate occupational and wellness clinic on Monday, Nov. 17. in its Portage Hospital located at 3630 Willowcreek Road. The first clinic, which opened in September 2013, is located at 809 LaPorte Ave. in Valparaiso. Health At Work offers medical services for employees who have suffered an illness or injury on the job, as well as for employers who are seeking to improve the overall health of their organizations.

According to Wehner-Evans, the new Portage clinic is opening in response to employers’ desire for a Portage location and will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The new clinic will provide the daily clinical and medical services to its corporate clients such as pre-employment screens, annual physicals and drug screens.
