WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central will host the American Veterans Traveling Tribute from July 3-7, 2012.
The tribute will provide visitors an opportunity to experience and 80 percent scale version of the Vietnam Wall.
“It is a tremendous honor to have the opportunity to host the American Veterans Traveling Tribute on our campus,” said Chancellor James Dworkin. “We know that many people have not had the opportunity to travel o Washington, D.C., to view the Vietnam Wall. Bringing the wall to Purdue North Central gives everyone in our community a chance to see the wall and honor those who have so gallantly served our country.”
In addition, there will be events to honor 9-11, World War II, Korean veterans, the 1980-2000 conflicts, and police and firefighter displays.
