WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central has received approval from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education for a bachelor’s degree program in electrical engineering. Students can enroll in the program in the fall.
This is the 20th bachelor’s degree program offered by PNC.
“I am pleased that our students now have the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Purdue North Central,” said Chancellor James B. Dworkin. “Our research indicates that there is a solid demand for electrical engineers in northern Indiana. There are a number of exciting career options open to graduates with a degree in electrical engineering.”
Dean of the PNC College of Engineering and Technology is Larry Matthews, who said the college already offers degrees in computer and information technology, construction engineering and management technology, engineering technology, mechanical engineering and mechanical engineering technology.
