PNC sets fall semester enrollment record

WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central has announced record enrollment and credit hours for the 2011 fall semester. Enrollment at the campus was 5,279 students, up 14 percent from last year.

Those students were enrolled in a record 48,842 credit hours.

“We are happy to welcome a record number of students to Purdue North Central,” said Chancellor James Dworkin, who added that PNC enrollment has risen throughout his 11 year-tenure as chancellor.

“Today, earning a bachelor’s degree is crucial to one’s future success,” said Dworkin. “At PNC we are committed to providing all of our students an unmatched learning environment so that they graduate ready to succeed in their chosen careers.”
