PNC hosts watercolor, ceramics exhibit

WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central’s Odyssey 13 Arts and Cultural Events Series will host “Watercolors and Ceramics (Two Media, One Art)” by Steven Skinner. The exhibit will be featured through May 25 in the first floor, north study area of the PNC Technology Building.

The building is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday’ and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Skinner began his career as a printmaker and worked in oils and encaustic and collage. For 20 years he painted in watercolors. The New Carlisle resident has taught art at Indiana University South Bend, Columbia College in Chicago, School of the Art Institute in Chicago, Gallery 37, Anchor Graphics and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
