SOUTH BEND – Memorial Hospital joined with the Indiana Hospital Association and other Indiana hospitals to observe Patient Safety Awareness Week.
Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual education and awareness campaign for health care safety led by the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF). This year’s Patient Safety 7/365 theme highlighted the need for everyone to understand the importance of focusing on patient safety year-round.
“Patient Safety 7/365, aligns with our core value of patient-centered care, and reminds us that providing safe patient care requires constant and dedicated effort. Patient safety has always been a top priority at Memorial Hospital and this was proven by our recent patient safety rating as being in the top 5 percent of U.S. hospitals,” said Memorial Hospital President, Kreg Gruber.
