HAMMOND – Dr. Ann K. Williams has received the Gratitude Award from the Catherine McAuley Clinic board of directors.
Williams is an ophthalmologist at the Williams Eye Institute in Hammond. It is part of the Franciscan Alliance.
“You are a delight and I wish there were more Dr. Williamses. We are very proud of you; thank you for making us a better organization,” said Tom Gryzbek, president of St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond.
Williams said she was humbled by the award. “There are so many people who devote so much of themselves to serve through McAuley and other places and I’m certainly not alone in that,” she said.
