Manufacturers across Indiana have answered the call to produce personal protective equipment for those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Indiana Manufacturers Association launched a website, featuring Hoosier manufacturers as well as the organization’s other members, who are producing personal protective gear and how to contact the businesses directly.
The IMA said many of its manufacturers have shifted production in recent weeks and found inventive ways to address workplace challenges in the wake of the pandemic.
The IMA has worked with the state’s manufacturing community by connecting them with resources and providing virtual learning opportunities, offering guidance during the crisis.
The IMA said being listed on the website is free and is open to all manufacturers. The site will remain active for as long as needed, the IMA said.
