CROWN POINT — The 21st annual Northwest Indiana Nursing Resource Consortium conference, “Healthy Work Environments in Nursing,” educated a sold-out crowd at Avalon Manor in Merrillville.

The session, entitled “Healthy Work Environments in Nursing,” featured keynote speaker Cynthia Clark, RN, PhD, ANEF, FAAN, a professor in the School of Nursing at Boise State University in Iowa, and her presentation, “Creating and Sustaining Civility in Nursing: Strategies to Address Incivility and Bullying in the Workplace.”

“The conference was a huge success this year,” said Margaret DeYoung, MS, APRN-DC, nursing program director for the University of Saint Francis Crown Point, a consortium member.
