South Shore CVANominations are open for the South Shore Convention and Visitor Authority’s annual ROSE and RISE Awards.

The awards recognize exceptional service of hospitality industry employees. Nominations will be accepted through Sept. 30 and honorees will be recognized in a virtual event later this year.

ROSE is an acronym for Recognition of Service Excellence and honors front-line employees who continually go above and beyond to make a positive impact on the visitor experience. RISE or Recognition of Industry Success and Excellence honors managerial employees or past R.O.S.E. winners who have risen above expectations when directly interacting with customers.

The South Shore CVA will announce the 2020 winners on Oct. 7 through Facebook Live. From Oct. 7 through Dec. 15, the South Shore CVA will feature this year's winners through its social media channels.

Six ROSE winners will be chosen along with two RISE winners.

Nominations can be submitted at www.rose-awards.com. Supporting documents, including comment cards and photos can also be uploaded with online nominations.

Nominations submitted after Sept. 30 will be eligible for the 2021 awards.
