MERRILLVILLE – NiSource has announced plans to build a $150 million, 70-mile natural gas pipeline in Pennsylvania.
The Big Pine Gathering System will have a capacity of 425 million cubic feet a day and will connect Columbia Gas Transmission, which is owned by NiSource, with pipelines operated by Texas Eastern Transmission and Dominion Transmission.
NiSource is working with XTO Energy to build the pipeline.
