PORTAGE – The Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission is reviewing its options for a new home when its lease expires at the end of this year.
NIRPC has narrowed its choices to three, including its present location at 6100 Southport Road in Portage. The other options are the Thomas Rose Industrial Park in LaPorte and at 5243 Hohman Ave. in downtown Hammond.
NIRPC shares office space with the Northwest Indiana Forum. It is a planning organization and serves government entities throughout Northwest Indiana.
