MERRILLVILLE – Northern Indiana Public Service Co. has named 350Green LLC of Los Angeles, Calif., as its administrator of an electric vehicle charging operation.
NIPSCO wants to develop a network of electric vehicle charging stations throughout its service area, including in residential areas. 350Green designs, builds and operates a network of charging stations.
NIPSCO said a three-year implementation period is planned and during that time, free plug-in vehicle charging will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in homes where a separate electric meter has been installed.
