MERRILLVILLE – An after-hours networking event, Training for Great Futures, will be held starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at NIPSCO headquarters, 801 E. 86th Ave.
The event is a fund-raiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana. Guest speaker is Jared Tomich, a Lake Central High School graduate and former NFL player with the New Orleans Saints.
Training for Great Futures supports the Tolleston Boys and Girls Club, a new club which will open next year in the former Tolleston Middle School.
