HAMMOND — The Purdue University Board of Trustees granted promotions to nine Purdue University Calumet faculty members at the April 4th Trustees meeting held at Purdue University North Central.
Nicolae Tarfulea of Hammond (Mathematics) was promoted to full professor.
Additionally, the following were promoted to associate professor: Muhammad T. Anan of Munster (Electrical and Computer Engineering), Ge Jin of Munster (Computer Information Technology and Graphics), Songtao Mo of Munster (Accounting), Margaret (Meg) E. Rincker of Frankfort, Ill. (Political Science), Lan Shen of Munster (Library Science), Tanya S. Stabler of Chicago (History), Kathryn A. Sweeney of Chicago (Sociology) and Michael I. Zimmer of Oak Park, Ill. (Biological Sciences).
