HAMMOND – Becky Manis has been named executive director of the Challenger Learning Center, 2300 173rd Ave.
She will be responsible for promoting the center as an educational destination for corporate and school groups. She also will be responsible for selling its educational programs to schools, children’s groups, private events, civic and corporate groups.
Manis is a graduate of Indiana University and received her master’s degrees from Purdue Calumet. For more information on the center, call (219) 989-3250.
