LA PORTE — Several new opportunities are available to individuals in Northwest Indiana who are seeking insurance coverage on the Healthcare Insurance Marketplace, and wish to be served by Indiana University Health La Porte and Starke hospitals and network physicians.
Open enrollment for the Health Insurance Marketplace, also known as the healthcare exchange, begins November 15, 2014 and ends February 15, 2014, for coverage starting as soon as January 1, 2015. Indiana University Health La Porte and Starke hospital Health Exchange Navigators are available to assist anyone in the public with getting insured on the marketplace.
