The Music Village (TMV) is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous gift from TCU Foundation of three brand new Seagull Entourage Acoustic Guitars, valued at $1500. The public and media are invited to the presentation, where Karol Griffin, Executive Director of TCU Foundation, will speak, and TMV’s Executive Director, Kellirae Boann, will accept the gift on behalf of The Music Village.
TCU Foundation recently received the gift of the Seagull guitars. “I recalled that some of the instruments at The Music Village were donated or borrowed,” said Ms. Griffin, of TCU Foundation. “When we were made aware of this award to TCU, we wanted to make sure they got a good home.” Ms. Griffin immediately thought of TMV’s community focus and downtown mission.
Seagull guitars are noted to be one of the best production models available with a price range that allows even the beginner to own a beautiful sounding instrument. Ken Douglas, TMV's Board President, looks forward to extending their sincerest thanks at the presentation ceremony on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
