Moran Design Corporation added another award to it’s ever growing list of recognitions, recently capturing a silver in the prestigious 2010 Summit Creative Award competition, sponsored annually by Summit International Awards. Thousands of submissions poured in from 24 countries with the Hammond, Indiana design firm scoring among the very best creative entries.
The design firm’s winning entry was in the Consumer Magazine Advertising Category, and was a dynamic full page, full color ad for Indiana’s own Northwest Indiana Business Quarterly Magazine, titled ‘Connecting.’
“Receiving this award from Summit International, a premier arbiter of creative excellence on an international scope, is truly an honor,” said Janis Moran, owner of Moran Design in Hammond. “We enjoy challenging, creative opportunities, producing communications that meet our clients needs. It’s what we like to do.”
The veteran design firm provides state-of-the-art graphic design, advertising, marketing, Web design, copywriting, photography and public relations services.
The Summit Creative Awards recognizes and celebrates the creative accomplishments of small and medium-sized advertising agencies. Entries are judged against a stringent set of standards. During the blind judging events (entering company names withheld), judges search for innovative and creative concepts, strong executions and the ability to communicate and persuade.
“Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment,” said Jocelyn Luciano, executive director for Summit International Awards. “The combination of our excellent judges and the tough judging criteria ensures that only deserving entries receive Summit recognition.”
