INDIANAPOLIS — Columbia Pictures and Fox 2000 Pictures’ “The Monuments Men” has been recognized with the Truly Moving Picture Award by nonprofit arts organization Heartland Truly Moving Pictures.
“Our jury was captivated by the story and history behind ‘The Monuments Men,’” said Tim Irwin, Heartland’s artistic director. “The film shines a spotlight on an overlooked piece of history, and shows the importance of art in both our culture and collective past. This film will inspire, educate and engage audiences.”
“The Monuments Men” opens in theaters nationwide on February 7.
