Maria Chicchelly was appointed to assistant vice president of patient care at Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus in Gary.
Chicchelly has more than 20 years of clinical and managerial experience in acute medical/surgical care, women’s health and inpatient/outpatient behavioral health.
She has served in roles as director of nursing and director of patient care services at Presence Health – St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago.
Chicchelly has a Bachelor of Arts degree in social work from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Resurrection University, Chicago; and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.
