MERRILLVILLE – The Indiana Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management has given its Excellence in Stormwater Management Award to Matt Lake, executive director of the Merrillville Stormwater Utility.
Lake was cited for promoting public awareness of proper floodplain and storm water management and for outstanding administration.
Lake has been executive director since 2011. The Indiana Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management was founded in 1996.
