MICHIGAN CITY — Members Advantage Credit Union recently presented a check in the amount of $500.00 to the Service League of Michigan City located at 301 Garfield Street.
The non-profit organization, which began 76 years ago, services area residents within the Michigan City Area Schools district with necessary medical equipment.
“We loan medical equipment to people who are in need of them, and, if it appears that someone needs the item for a longer time, we try to provide it at no cost,” explained Volunteer Katherine Brennan.
