MICHIGAN CITY — Members Advantage Credit Union is offering two $1,000 scholarships in 2014 for graduating high school seniors and college freshman and sophomores enrolled in a college, university, or trade school.
Members Advantage will once again offer The Gail Walker Memorial Scholarship created in memory of former board member, Gail Walker, who passed away in 2008. Members Advantage will also be awarding The Leona Bruno Scholarship in memory of the first manager of Members Advantage Credit Union.
Scholarships will be given to candidates who demonstrate scholastic achievement, personal integrity, and who are involved in their community. The applications will not be accepted via email. Each application must be mailed in or dropped off in its entirety. All walk-in applications must be received by February 28, 2014 and all mail-in applications must be postmarked by February 28, 2014.
