Saturday, July 12, 2014, 6 PM (CDT) Lubeznik Center for the Arts will hold its annual fundraiser at its home for the first time, located at 101 W. 2nd St. Michigan City, IN 46360. The event will feature culinary delights, inspired libations, delectable desserts, artists creating their work, LA-based DJ HMU, and spectacular interactive performances. Material Possessions, fiber artist, Karen Gubitz, will be on-site creating artwork as well as artist Laura Marie Panozzo.

Browse the six galleries at LCA during the event and meet the artists. Artwork on exhibit in the Hyndman Gallery, features Material Possessions, a collection of contemporary fiber art. In the Brinka Cross and Northview Galleries, view Ignorance With Wings, new works by Michael Bill Smith. The NIPSCO Art Education Studios, features a showcase of artwork by youth in partnership with the LOK Wishing Tree Foundation.
