CROWN POINT — On Saturday, August 23, 2014 the Foundation for Molecular Medicine (FFMM) will host an outdoor festival at Sunset Hill Farm Park in Valparaiso, Indiana featuring microbreweries from around Northwest Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. Beginning at 7:30 a.m. the day starts off with a 5K fun-run, continues with live music, food, and unlimited tastings from a variety of regional microbreweries until 4:00 p.m.
The unlimited beer tastings will be offered to festival attendees for a $40 donation to the organization. There is a Designated Driver donation also being offered for $15. Tickets can be obtained by going to www.brewathlon.com.
