Applications now are being accepted for the Leadership Northwest Indiana program.
Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the 12-month program. Program courses are held once a month at the institute’s Portage facility, 6100 Southport Road.
The first course is July 11 with the final course scheduled for June 4, 2020.
The program, now in its 30th year, has graduated 1,400 people from across the Region. It now is part of Purdue University Northwest and operates as the Leadership Institute at PNW.
Program facilitators say the partnership with PNW has provided access to the leadership and academic experts in the PNW School of Business as well as other university leaders who have applied their expertise to create a more engaging leadership development program.
The program is designed for emerging leaders who want to invest in their professional development. The program will add skills to participants’ leadership toolbox and encourage their personal growth as they engage in skill building, regional and national leadership topics and take part in hands-on learning activities.
