SOUTH BEND — Local organizations with common goals often come together, forming synergistic teams to meet those goals. LaSalle Hospitality Group (LHG) — owner/operator of LaSalle Grill, LaSalle Kitchen & Tavern, Events with Style Catering, and Grill at the Greens — and Bertrand Farms have recently formed a partnership that promotes sustainable farming, healthy eating and environmentally conscious agricultural research and education: LaSalle Gardens.

Located at Bertrand Farms, LaSalle Gardens will not only provide the produce served by LHG restaurants this season as part of the farm’s Community Sponsored Agriculture program, but it will also offer a unique educational experience for an LHG culinary intern through a Sustainable Agriculture and Research Education grant awarded to the farm.
