MERRILLVILLE — Lakeshore Public Media is proud to announce a new local news program, Lakeshore Report, which will air Fridays at 7pm, beginning March 21. Lakeshore Report is a weekly, half hour program that will focus on news, events, arts and culture in Northwest Indiana.

“Lakeshore Report is a great opportunity to take a more in depth look at the issues facing the region,” commented Assignment Editor of Lakeshore Public Media, Sarah Holst. From education to environment, politics to policy, Lakeshore Report will give viewers the information they need to understand what is happening in the local community and why.

Each program will consist of news that will bring diverse voices and unique insights, which will provide viewers with information needed to shape their minds on the issues they face every week. The program will also include information about events and community activities that happen in the area.
