Jersey Mike’s Subs has opened a second Region location at 8153 Calumet Ave. in Munster.
The Munster site opened June 10 and is operated by Raul Padilla, who also owns also owns a Jersey Mike's location in Schererville at 37 U.S. Hwy 41. Padilla’s stores are the first two Jersey Mike's stores in Northwest Indiana.
The original store began as Mike’s Subs in 1956 in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, N.J. Peter Cancro is CEO of Jersey Mike's Franchise Systems Inc.
Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise, has 14 locations in Indiana including with more than 2,500 locations open and under development nationwide.
