Ivy Tech Community College has a new vice chancellor for student success at its Valparaiso campus and a new chancellor for its campus in Evansville.
Countance Anderson was appointed vice chancellor of student success. She will join Ivy Tech in Valparaiso in April will lead and support student success efforts at Ivy Tech’s locations in Valparaiso, Michigan City, and La Porte.
Daniela Vidal, vice president of operations at Vidal Plastics, will take over as chancellor of Ivy Tech Community College’s Evansville campus on March 16.
She replaces Jonathan Weinzapfel who left the college in November.
The Evansville campus serves a 10-county region with additional sites in Princeton and Tell City.
Anderson serves as vice president for student success and services at Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Ill. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, a master’s of arts in education degree from Bethel University-McKenzie, Tenn. and a doctorate degree in higher education leadership from Union University-Jackson, Tenn.
Prior to her work at Vidal Plastics, Vidal served for more than 10 years in a variety of roles at the University of Southern Indiana.
