IUN celebrates faculty with promotions, awards

Indiana University Northwest recently lauded staff for their dedication and commitment to the university. Seven faculty members were promoted or received tenure, and 12 awards were distributed, according to a press release.

The Indiana University Board of Trustees approved promotions and tenure for the following faculty members in the 2023-2024 academic year:

Promoted with tenure

  • Chae Young Chang, associate professor, public and environmental affairs
  • Jen Fisher, associate professor, biology
  • Jeremiah Hulsebos-Spofford, associate professor, fine arts
  • Daniele Rosso, associate professor, mathematics and actuarial science

Promoted

  • Gianluca DiMuzio, professor, history, philosophy, political science and religious studies 
  • Harold Olivey, clinical associate professor, biology 
  • Dorinda Sattler, clinical associate professor, health information management
