Teachers seeking employment in Northwest Indiana have an opportunity to find a new job April 23.

Indiana University Northwest is hosting its fourth annual Teacher Recruitment Fair. The IUN School of Education and the Office of Career Services at IUN are hosting the virtual event with two sessions available one from 10 a.m. to noon and the other from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

More than 20 Region schools and school corporations will be present. Representatives from the schools and school corporations will interview prospective teachers and administrators to fill immediate vacancies.

Representatives from individual public, charter, and private schools are expected and will be actively recruiting candidates to fill available positions for teachers, administrators, and other positions.

The event is open to qualified graduating students and alumni from any college or university. Previous fairs have attracted students and alumni from Northwestern University, Grand Valley State University, and Ball State University.

Attendees should register in advance at iun.edu/teacherfair.
