HAMLET – IU Health LaPorte VNA Services has opened an office at 5595 County Road 600 North in Hamlet.
VNA Skilled HomeCare and Private Duty Services allows people to recuperate at home or in an assisted living residence instead of a long hospital stay or nursing home.
Nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The move to Hamlet was sparked by the needs of the community to have a homecare facility in Starke County. Services include home telemonitoring services, home infusion therapy, social services, home health aides, speech and language skills.
