MISHAWAKA —The new Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) Health Insurance Services, LLC, Center is now open at the hospital campus in Mishawaka to help members of our community prepare for the changes of healthcare reform and the Affordable Care Act .
The center offers a place where individuals and families can learn more about their health insurance options from licensed health insurance agents, as well as enroll for coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace. A Health Insurance Services Center will open in Plymouth in October.
“We understand that the guidelines of the Affordable Care Act may seem confusing and overwhelming,” says Janice Dunn, SJRMC Chief Financial Officer. “One of the most critical pieces to understand is how uninsured individuals and families can access health coverage under the Act.”
