The Influential Women of Northwest Indiana Awards Banquet is this week! Winners will be announced at the Influential Women awards banquet on Thursday.
More than 500 people and several prominent companies will be gathering this week to celebrate the achievements of our region’s top female business, industry and community leaders.
Two winners will be selected in eleven different industry categories, in addition to three special awards for empowering businesses, leadership and individual support. This year, there were 80 finalists chosen from a pool of roughly 150 nominees. The full list of finalists is available at nwiwomen.com.
Also, proceeds from the event will be used to make major donations to the following nonprofit organizations: Mental Health America of Lake County, Sojourner Truth House, Opportunity Enterprises, Housing Opportunities.
All in all, the banquet provides an excellent opportunity to network with individuals from an array of major Northwest Indiana corporations and honor women who are making a difference in their businesses, industries, and communities.
The banquet will be held on Thursday, October 15th from 5-8 PM at the Avalon Manor, located at 3550 U.S. 30, Merrillville, IN 46410.
