SOUTH BEND — Hospice Foundation announces that Christopher Taelman recently joined the organization as Chief Development Officer. Taelman is responsible for Hospice Foundation’s resource development strategies and initiatives, including fund raising campaigns and the solicitation of major gifts, planned gifts and in-kind gifts.
Taelman’s prior experience includes serving as director of major gifts at Saint Mary’s College, leading development initiatives of health care related organizations in northern Indiana, managing community relations and communications for Northern Indiana Public Service Company and work in economic development as project manager for the Indiana Department of Commerce. He is a graduate of Indiana University and completed an executive management program at the University of Notre Dame.
