SOUTH BEND – Holladay Properties and an anonymous partner have acquired the 539,137 square foot AJ Wright building on South Bend’s west side.

Holladay will operate the building and handle all leasing and sales. The building will be known as the Interstate 80 Commerce Center. Holladay, based in South Bend, also operates the Ameriplex at the Port complex in Portage, and also has operations in Indianapolis, Nashville, Tenn., and Richmond, Va.

“We envision the building as being a true interstate commerce center with a regional and national tenant mix who provide services to the Midwest and further,” said Manette Tepe, senior vice president.

The building was developed in 2005 as a distribution center for AJ Wright. It has 88 docks and room to develop an additional 300,000 square feet.
