SOUTH BEND — Retail Skills Boot Camp, a new class being offered by Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc., includes credentials from the National Retail Federation (NRF). This seven week course is designed to prepare students for careers in customer service and retail environments. Students spend three hours each day in the classroom and four hours gaining hands-on experience in an actual retail environment. The first class begins on Monday, March 30th at Goodwill’s Community Career Center in Mishawaka. It includes an intense study of the NRF curriculum facilitated by Terri Kennedy, Retail Skills Coordinator and credentialed NRF Test Proctor. To complete the course, students take an NRF credentialing exam.
The Retail Skills Boot Camp is $155.00 and students are advised to register as soon as possible.
