SOUTH BEND — Goodwill Industries Week is May 4th through the 10th this year and Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc. is hosting a Job Fair on Wednesday, May 7th to celebrate.  There will be several businesses ready to hire at their Community Career Center in Mishawaka from: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  A wide variety of companies and staffing agencies will be participating, including:  Mosaic, Express Pro, HMS Host, Indiana Health Centers, Damar Services, U.S. Army, South Bend Fire Department, Lippert Components, Department of Child Services, Grifols Biomat, Dynamic Metals, Adorn Door, T.J. Maxx and Goodwill.  Those interested in attending the Job Fair should dress professionally; bring a current resume and a positive attitude.  Candidates should also be prepared to interview with the prospective employer that day.  “Our Job Fairs are an exciting time.  As an individual walks through the door, there will be a lot of activity.  Our goal is to make every job seeker feel comfortable the second he / she enters our building.  Looking for employment is already a stressful job.  We are here to provide assistance to ease the job search process,” comments Nick Pittman, Mishawaka Community Career Center Manager.  This event is sponsored by Goodwill’s Workforce Development Services and is one of many outreach activities that help change lives in our community.
