SOUTH BEND — Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc. will host a “Fill-A-Truck Donation Drive” at their Grape Road Retail Store in Mishawaka on Saturday, April 18th from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Donations of gently used clothing and household items are the foundation that help Goodwill change lives in our community.
A Goodwill truck will be positioned near Grape Road in the parking lot of their Grape Road Retail Store. Those who donate will receive a Discount Shopping Coupon and Tax Receipt. The Goodwill Truck will be onsite from 7:00 am until 11:00 am.
Those who wish to donate later in the day may do so at any Goodwill Retail Store Attended Donation Drive-Thru or Collection Center. Goodwill accepts donations of gently used books and household items, as well as all textiles – even those that are worn or torn. Over 4,000 people receive training in Goodwill programs each year and more than 1,100 individuals were placed in jobs in the community last year.
