LA PORTE — Indiana University Health is offering free skin cancer screenings to the public at a variety of locations in La Porte and Starke counties this August. The screenings are not recommended for those who have seen a dermatologist within the past three years. Pre-registration is required. Call 219.326.2073 unless otherwise noted below.
The following IU Health Primary Care locations offer screenings on:
- Monday, Aug.12 from 9 am to noon (Central time) at 402 W. Culver Rd. in Knox
- Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 11:30 am to noon and 4 pm to 4:30 pm (Central time) at Founders’ Square, 1509 State St., in La Porte
- Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am (Central time) at 156 Flynn Rd. in Westville
- Thursday, Aug. 15 from 10:30 am to noon (Eastern time) at LifePlex, 2855 Miller Dr., Ste. 119, in Plymouth
- Thursday, Aug. 15 from 11:30 am to noon and 4:15 pm to 4:45 pm (Central time) at Founders’ Square, 1509 State St., in La Porte
- Thursday, Aug. 15 from 1 pm to 4:30 pm (Central time) at 402 W. Culver Rd. in Knox
